Sunday blahs

This is a blah day. First weekend off after having worked 14 days straight. I hate covering for vacations. To top things off, I've had a cold for about 2 weeks but at least I've finally feeling better. Feeling so much better that I am getting stir crazy . K is working and all my friends have tickets to the True Colors concert today. That would be one cool show to see. So yeah, I'm a little depressed and feeling lonely and sorry for myself on this beautiful sunny day. Instead I hauled my sorry ass down to the java shack to catch up on some work before the boss gets back from vacation. How sad is that? (Pity plea)

Right across from me is an old lady taking politics to two twinks. Hilarious. She is saying something about all world leaders, regardless of race, color or creed, descend from 1 of 12 families. A little off her rocker? Perhaps. But somewhere in my past I have heard that before. Maybe I am as insane as her. Would explain a lot!

Well just a few months since Johnny Boy moved out of our spare bedroom and looks like we have a new roommate. Triskal is working on his master's degree and has decided to rent his place out and rent our spare bedroom to help with money while he is in school. Now we definitely don't have a large space, but it worked OK with Johnny. But Triskal has more stuff and a cat. Oh well, the extra buckage will help. Best part is that we all get along really well so it should be easy. Funny though, each time I get the extra cash to convert that room to a lounge/study room, we get a new boarder. Maybe I should open a B&B. Except at mine, I rent them the bed, they provide the breakfast. Sounds fair to me.

We I know this next item has already been making the blog rounds, but when I came across it a few days ago, I couldn't help thinking how cool this was. Enrique Iglesias did a show in London at a gay club last week. He asked the crowd if he should bring up a girl or a guy to sing to. The crowd went wild chanting "guy, guy, guy". Well he did and someone caught it on video. What other straight performer has the balls to do that and make the night of one of his fans who just happends to be gay? You go boy!
